McLeod Hospice will celebrate the 40th Annual “A Light for Someone You Love” Tree Lighting Ceremony, presented by Signature Wealth Strategies, in Florence on December 4, 2025, at 5:45 p.m. The ceremony will be held at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

This year, the McLeod Hospice Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature very special participants. Ronald Fowler will extend a warm welcome to guests on behalf of the McLeod Health Board of Trustees. Chip Munn, of Signature Wealth Strategies, will lead the dedication ceremony, while Chaplain Layne Rogerson will guide us in the lighting of the candles. The Masterworks Choir will provide beautiful musical selections throughout the evening, and Chaplain Elgin Woodberry will offer the closing prayer. To conclude, Donna Isgett, President and CEO of McLeod Health, will bring the program to a close, marking the end of a memorable evening as we celebrate 40 years of the Hospice Tree Lighting.

The family of the late Kaye Floyd-Parris will have the honor of lighting the trees, a heartfelt tribute that represents all the families McLeod Hospice has had the privilege of serving this year.

An annual fundraising event to support the McLeod Hospice program, this event is free and open to the public. Many of our families use this as a time to purchase a light in memory or honor of someone ($25 donation per light) as a way to provide support for this compassionate care.  Names of those remembered are included in the printed program that evening.

Please be sure to include the name(s) of those you would like to remember as well as the name and address of anyone you would like to acknowledge of your gift.  Proceeds raised through the tree lighting will directly benefit McLeod Hospice.
