Building Leaders through Our Physician Leadership Academy

With the rapid changes in healthcare, physician leadership and collaboration within a healthcare system will be critical to providing high-quality, efficient care to our community. Physician-led and integrated health systems like the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinicare often cited by our peers as models for future healthcare delivery systems. It is impossible to imagine an integrated system without meaningful physician leadership.

To promote these qualities within our own organization, McLeod is proud to announce the McLeod Health Physician Leadership Academy (PLA).

A 10 month educational program designed to prepare physicians for leadership roles within their practice and the health system.
Twenty-five (25) physicians, from a variety of disciplines, will be selected from the application pool.

The Academy curriculum offers seminars by regionally and nationally recognized experts on a variety of topics, including: Emotional Intelligence, Healthcare Finance, Quality & Safety, Physician Alignment, and Team Building.
Attendance at 75% of the academy events is expected.
McLeod Health is excited to offer this program in 2018. As a medical staff member, we invite you to apply for this program if you are interested in serving in a leadership role within our organization.

How can I join the PLA?
