The McLeod Breast Health Center has maintained certification with the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) since 2010. As an accredited center committed to providing comprehensive cancer care, we continually strive to improve multidisciplinary care to all patients with breast disease and/or breast cancer.
Advancements in breast cancer now allow us to identify patients at increased risk for breast cancer. We are pleased
to offer the McLeod High-Risk Breast Clinics for patients at increased risk for breast cancer
which includes women with dense breasts, lifestyle risk factors, a family history of breast cancer and/or a history of high-risk lesions.
The clinics are available to all patients at high risk for breast cancer and are designed to provide each woman with a comprehensive determination of risk and support to make appropriate informed decisions.

The McLeod Breast Health Center uses a breast cancer risk assessment tool called the TC Score or Tyrer-Cuzick Score. This tool gives us your estimated lifetime risk of developing breast cancer based upon your answers about risk factors like age, family history of breast cancer, and genetic mutations.
At your visit, you will meet directly with an experienced provider to discuss your individual risk for breast cancer and learn what options are best for you to manage this risk. Discussions during the visit may include:
