Total Joint Replacement Topic of Physician Luncheon

McLEOD LORIS 21 MARCH 2014

(3/14/2014)  Total Joint Replacement surgery will be the topic of a lunch and learn scheduled for 12:00 p.m., on Monday, March 24, at McLeod Seacoast.

Our bodies are supposed to provide us with smooth, pain-free movement. As we age, however, our bodies undergo change that sometimes results in joint pain of the knees, hips and shoulders. Joint pain is often a result of overuse, arthritis, sprains, fractures or other injuries. This pain is not only uncomfortable but also prevents us from doing the everyday activities we enjoy.

Dr. Eric Heimberger, of McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast, will discuss the causes, symptoms and treatment options associated with joint pain; in particular, total joint replacement surgery. Just as no two patients are the same, no two joint replacement procedures are the same. Dr. Heimberger and the team at McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast works closely with patients to assist them from diagnosis through treatment and recovery in order to meet the unique medical and lifestyle needs of each patient.

The lunch and learn will be held in the Auxiliary Room at McLeod Seacoast, next door to Suite 275. A light lunch will be served. Space is limited; registration is required. To register or to learn more about outreach events offered by McLeod Loris Seacoast, please call (843) 390-8326.
