Safe Kids Florence, led by McLeod Health, and the City of Florence Police Department to Host National Night Out Bicycle Rodeo

McLEOD SAFE KIDS 2 AUGUST 2010

(8/02/10) – Safe Kids Florence, led by McLeod Health, and the City of Florence Police Department will host a Bicycle Rodeo Tuesday, August 3, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Florence Target parking lot in honor of National Night Out – America’s Night Out Against Crime. National Night Out promotes neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in the fight for a safer country.
Children are encouraged to bring their bicycle and safety gear to practice wheel safety. Free children’s helmets will be available while supplies last to children who bring bicycles.

This event is open to all who are interested. In the case of rain, the event will be cancelled. For more information, please call Safe Kids Florence at (843) 777 – 5021. Safe Kids Florence led by McLeod Health will also host an informational table at the Leatherman Senior Center on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in support of National Night Out.
