(10/29/12) – Rhonda Altman has been named Manager of the McLeod Dillon Pink Dogwood Gift Shop. In this role, Rhonda will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the gift shop operations, including purchasing and inventory management.
Rhonda has eight years of retail experience managing her own boutique and gift shop in Dillon. "Her knowledge of vendors, purchasing, and merchandising along with her considerable energy and creativity are perfect in this role," said Debbie Locklair, Administrator of McLeod Dillon.
The Hospital Auxiliary members volunteer their time to operate the Pink Dogwood Gift Shop, volunteering many hours each month. In addition, the Auxiliary promotes McLeod Dillon by giving of their time at hospital functions, in hospital departments, and in the hospital’s front lobby welcoming visitors among many other events throughout the year. Proceeds from the gift shop and several other annual fundraisers have been used to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment and other items that enhance patient care for McLeod Dillon. The Auxiliary members have established a scholarship fund to encourage deserving individuals in Dillon County to further their education in health-related careers.
A Holiday Open House is scheduled in the McLeod Dillon Pink Dogwood Gift Shop on November 5-7 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
