(5/20/2013) Preparations for the 5th Annual McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation Ball are well underway. The ball is scheduled for Saturday, August 17, at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. Proceeds for this year’s event will benefit the Labor and Delivery Department at McLeod Loris and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department at McLeod Seacoast.

The foundation ball is planned each year by a dedicated committee of community volunteers. The committee spends countless hours developing the theme, soliciting sponsorships, selling tickets and decorating for the event.

The foundation ball committee recently toured the McLeod Seacoast Pediatric Rehabilitation facility in Little River. Scott Montgomery, Director of Rehabilitation Services for McLeod Loris Seacoast, explained the types of therapy and treatment available at the facility.

The McLeod Seacoast Pediatric Rehabilitation program is one of only two outpatient pediatric rehabilitation programs in Horry County. They serve children from 0-14 years of age.
