New Director for McLeod Loris Seacoast Emergency Services

(4/02/12) – Emergency departments at McLeod Loris Seacoast are now under new leadership. After serving in a variety of healthcare positions, the new director Warren G. Faulk says he is ready to get back into the emergency department.

“I love the ER because you can see the immediate results of your actions,” Faulk said. “Patients come in, they have needs and we fix them.”

Born in Whiteville, NC, Faulk lived in Orlando, Florida as a child before returning to North Carolina where he later graduated from Nakina High School. After serving in the US Army, he earned his Associates Degree in Nursing from Southeastern Community College in Whiteville. Faulk received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Masters of Science in Nursing – Informatics from American Sentinel University in Aurora, Colorado.

Faulk has extensive experience in emergency and intensive care nursing—having served most recently as manager of the clinical improvement

“I was excited to learn of this opportunity. I wanted to be closer to home and wanted to return to ER nursing,” Faulk said. “I am an ER nurse at heart.”
