Merit Award Recipients Recognized

(2/27/2014)   McLeod Loris Seacoast is pleased to announce the latest employees to be named Merit Award recipients. Staff members honored were Kathy Arp, Pre-Admission Nurse, and John Konopka, Occupational Therapist, both employees at McLeod Seacoast. They were each presented with a Merit Award during a recognition event held Wednesday, February 26, at McLeod Seacoast.

The Merit Award recognizes McLeod Health employees, volunteers and physicians who consistently exemplify Service Excellence standards and who also demonstrate and promote the McLeod Health mission, vision and values. Recipients are nominated by their coworkers and chosen by members of the McLeod Loris Seacoast Service Excellence Committee.

McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast provide care for residents of northern Horry and southern Brunswick and Columbus counties. Founded in 1950, McLeod Loris is a fully-accredited acute care facility with 105 licensed beds.  McLeod Seacoast opened in 2000 as an outpatient facility.  In July 2011, McLeod Seacoast began providing inpatient care as a 50-bed hospital.
