McLeod Urgent Care Centers, located in Florence and Darlington, South Carolina, have received accreditation from the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ), the highest level of distinction for an urgent care center. CAUCQ accreditation illustrates an organization’s ongoing commitment to patient safety, quality care, and operational excellence.
“This accreditation reflects the dedication of our physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, radiology technologists, and support staff who work every day to provide high-quality, convenient care for the communities we serve,” said Ken Beasley, Senior Vice President for McLeod Physician Associates. “Patients who visit McLeod Urgent Care Centers can be confident they are receiving care that meets nationally recognized standards for safety and quality.”
CAUCQ accreditation criteria include meeting standards for governance, human resources, patient care processes, quality improvement, physical environment, health record management, and patient privacy, rights, and responsibilities. Accreditation is awarded on a three-year basis and recognizes organizations that consistently meet rigorous national standards for urgent care services.
