McLeod to Host Look Good Feel Better Program

The McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment & Research will host a Look Good Feel Better session for women diagnosed with cancer on Monday, April 20, at 9 a.m. The two-hour session will be held in the Center’s Conference Room. The CancerCenter is located at 401 E. Cheves Street.

Look Good Feel Better is a free program sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Personal Care Products Council Foundation and the Professional Beauty Association. The program involves a team of area beauty professionals trained in the cosmetic needs of women undergoing treatment for cancer. Women attending this program will be treated to pampering as they learn about skin, hair and nail care. An array of beauty products donated by the cosmetic industry will also be given to participants for attending the session.*

* All women attending the session must be currently in active treatment or within six months of completion of treatment to receive a complimentary make-up kit.
