Lung Cancer Awareness Month

McLEOD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER 19 NOVEMBER 2020

In recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Vinod Jona, Dr. Carmen Taype-Roberts and the staff of McLeod Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates encourage people to be screened for lung cancer if they are between 55 and 80 years of age and smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for 30 years or two packs a day for 15 years.

The screening involves a low-dose CT scan.
