(3/5/2014)   The McLeod Health Foundation, supporting McLeod Loris Seacoast, hosted a Corporate Partners Luncheon on Tuesday, February 25, at McLeod Seacoast.

The goal of the luncheon was to allow community leaders an opportunity to tour McLeod Seacoast and see first-hand the day to day operations of the facility and to promote the services offered by McLeod Loris Seacoast.

McLeod Loris Seacoast Administrator, Dick Tinsley, shared the mission and vision of McLeod Health with the group. He emphasized the commitment of McLeod Health to remain the area’s largest healthcare system, providing patients with access to top-ranked and nationally recognized physicians and surgeons, while continuing to offer the highest quality patient care.

While touring the recently renovated operating room at McLeod Seacoast, the group watched a demonstration by Dr. Eric Heimberger, Orthopedic Surgeon with McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast. Equipped with models, instruments and x-rays, Dr. Heimberger demonstrated firsthand how to perform a total knee replacement procedure.
