McLeod Safe Kids will host a day of fun family activities focused on keeping kids safe. The event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the McLeodMedicalPlaza Parking Lot (800 East Cheves Street, Florence, SC29502).
The McLeod Safe Kids Day, presented in partnership with The Elks Lodge of Florence, will include:
· Free food from The Elks Lodge of Florence along with drug awareness information
· Bicycle Rodeo with the Florence Police Department and Helmet Fit Test (make sure to bring your bicycle and helmet)
· Driving Under the Influence (DUI) golf cart course with South Carolina Highway Patrol (available to those with a valid driver’s license)
· Fishing Simulator with South Carolina Department of Natural Resources
· Car Seat Inspections with McLeod Safe Kids certified technicians (please bring car seat and manuals)
· Gun safety education and FREE gun locks from The Matthew Bellamy Project
· Tours of fire trucks, ambulance, and emergency vehicles
· Many other activities for the entire family.
