McLeod Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Rodney Alan discusses common tennis injuries and the upcoming McLeod for Health Florence Open with Ken Ard on the Live 95 Morning Show on September 27.

Dr. Johnson Walker, Pee Dee Surgical Group, and Dr. Rodney Alan, McLeod Orthopaedics, were guests on Live 95 with Ken Ard on Thursday, September 27.

Dr. Walker, a Board Certified Trauma Surgeon, discussed surgical critical care and the role of a trauma surgeon. Dr. Walker and fellow Trauma Surgeon Dr. Mark Reynolds care for surgical trauma patients at McLeod Regional Medical Center which is a Level II Trauma Center.

Dr. Alan, an Orthopedic Surgeon, also serves as the Tournament Physician for the McLeod for Health Florence Open USTA Women’s Tennis Tournament in October. He talked with Ard about common tennis injuries and ways to prevent these types of injuries. He also encouraged listeners to come out to the free tournament which benefits Komen South Carolina the week of October 14.
