(3/20/2014)   McLeod Physician Associates welcomes Merritt King, III, MD, to McLeod OB/GYN Seacoast. Dr. King joins McLeod from The Women’s Center of Lexington and North Davidson, of Wake Forest Baptist Health in Lexington, North Carolina.

"I enjoy my work as an OB/GYN because of the broad range of life stages that you treat," said Dr. King. "You make connections with families that last generations."

Dr. King said an area where he feels that he can make a difference in the life of a patient, is in women undergoing menopause. "In this stage of life, the woman is transitioning, her hormones are changing, and it is a time that we can work together to really make things better for the patient."

Dr. King attended medical school at Saba University School of Medicine, Saba, Netherlands Antilles. He completed his residency at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.
