(7/26/2013)  McLeod Loris Seacoast recently held Safe Sitter training for area youth at North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center, awarding five participant’s completion cards recognizing their training in babysitting preparation.

Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program designed for boys and girls ages 11-13.  This nationally recognized program teaches sitters how to have fun with children, recognize a medical emergency and know the appropriate action to take.  They learn how to handle specific ages, learn injury prevention techniques, and safety for both the sitter and the children, as well as care of the choking child, preventing problem behavior and the business of babysitting.
