MCLEOD LORIS SEACOAST RECEIVES GRANTS FROM FOUNDATION ANGELS

Thanks to the support and generosity of the McLeod Loris Seacoast Angels, McLeod Loris Seacoast has been granted close to $3,000 to help improve departmental efficiency and provide additional support for the patients.

McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation Angels grants include:  Physical Therapy Lymphedema Program – $1000 to support patients without the financial resources to purchase needed lymphedema compression garments, Pharmacy – $950 to support the purchase of an iPad or laptop that will help the pharmacy team perform their work at optimal level, and  Nursing Administration – $950 to support the purchase of an iPad or laptop for the nursing supervisor to improve productivity.

The McLeod Loris Seacoast Angels is an association of women organized under the auspices of the McLeod Foundation, benefiting McLeod Loris Seacoast. The purpose of the McLeod Loris Seacoast Angels is to provide networking and healthcare-related educational opportunities for women who support the McLeod Foundation and to develop women’s knowledge of the impact of philanthropy on healthcare.

The members of McLeod Loris Seacoast Angels meet for lunch four times a year with an educational program being presented at each meeting. Educational programs will be chosen that are both informative and fun.

McLeod Loris Seacoast Angels membership is open to anyone who is interested in becoming part of the group.
