McLeod Loris Seacoast Named 2013 Merchant of the Year

McLEOD LORIS 21 MARCH 2014

(1/27/2014)   McLeod Loris Seacoast was just one of many recognized at the Loris Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet, January 23, walking away as 2013 Merchant of the Year.

Mayor David Stoudenmire presented the award to Dick Tinsley, Administrator of McLeod Loris Seacoast.

"I accept this award on behalf of our employees, our medical staff, and our Board," said Tinsley. "People in health care choose that career because they want to care for others.  It is a calling, similar to the ministry.  They provide high quality and compassionate service to their neighbors every day. I would like to thank Loris Chamber of Commerce for recognizing them in this way."

The Merchant of the Year is selected by a committee each year based on the contributions made by a business to the growth of the community.
