(4/08/12) – Employees of McLeod Loris and McLeod Health in Florence recently participated in Horry Electric Cooperative’s annual meeting by providing a number of free screenings. Participants were offered complimentary blood pressure checks, bone density screenings, and blood sugar and cholesterol screenings. McLeod Health’s Safe Kids Coordinator, Ashley Costas, provided information on injury prevention and car seat safety. Stacey Mott, outreach coordinator for McLeod Loris Seacoast, worked closely with Horry Electric in planning this event for their members. More than 4600 people attended the annual event.
