McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

McLeod Health welcomes David T. Lake, MD, MS, and Joshua P. Rouhan, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Lake joins the Department of Inpatient Medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center as a Hospitalist. He comes to McLeod following the completion of his residency training at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. A South Carolina native, Dr. Lake was born in St. Matthews and raised in the town of Santee. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in Charleston. He holds a Master of Science, Biology Concentration in Ecology and Systematics from San Francisco State University, and received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. Dr. Lake and his wife, Emily, are parents of one son and two daughters.

Dr. Rouhan joins McLeod Emergency Physicians at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Prior to his arrival to McLeod, Dr. Rouhan trained at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency. In November 2018, he earned the Most Patients Seen Award. He also earned a Chief Nomination in 2020-2021. Past experiences include 900 hours of volunteer work for Greenville Memorial Hospital and patient transportation for the Greenville Health System. Dr. Rouhan is a native of Charleston, SC, graduating from the University of South Carolina prior to completing medical school. He and his wife, Haley, live happily together with their four children.
