McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

McLeod Health welcomes Tyler K. Greenberg, DO, and Mitul Patel, MD, to the Medical Staff.

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and also having completed residency training in Internal medicine, Dr. Greenberg has 14 years of experience as an attending emergency physician, and extensive time working in Levels I, II, and III trauma and stroke centers. He has additional training as a wound care specialist. Past medical staff appointments include St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York; Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, Pennsylvania; and Geisinger-CMC of Scranton, Pennsylvania. In South Carolina, he has served patients at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, and Spartanburg Regional Medical System. Dr. Greenberg and his wife, Internal Medicine physician Dr. Shireen Lobo, are parents of two children, a boy and a girl.

Dr. Patel joins the Department of Inpatient Medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center as a Hospitalist. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine/Palmetto Health Richland. A native of Dillon, South Carolina, Dr. Patel comes to McLeod from Palmetto Health, having served as a Hospitalist on staff at Palmetto Health Baptist, Palmetto Health Richland, and Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge. He also served as a Physician Advisor for Prisma Health, Associate Medical Director for Palmetto Health Hospice, and a Staff Physician for Palmetto Health Palliative Care.
