McLeod Health welcomes Dr. Elena Gore and Dr. Michael Sperling to the medical staff.

An OB/GYN physician, Dr. Gore has joined the practice of McLeod OB/GYN Seacoast. She comes to McLeod Health from Jersey Shore University Medical Center of Neptune, New Jersey. Originally from Little River, South Carolina, Dr. Gore is passionate about women’s health at all stages of life and looks forward to becoming a part of a patient-centered team. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling. She has traveled to many international destinations for medical mission trips and opportunities to study abroad. Dr. Gore joins Dr. Chris McCauley, Dr. Merritt King and Dr. Joycelyn Schindler in accepting new patients. As in Internist, Dr. Sperling treats patients with a broad spectrum of adult health care needs, ranging from primary care to more complicated medical needs including heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, kidney disease and multi-system diseases. Dr. Sperling and his wife, Alexandria, live in North Myrtle Beach and have two children, a son, Rowan and a daughter, Oia. Dr. Sperling joins Dr. Raymond Holt, Dr. Darron Molter and Ashleigh Hotaling, FNP, at the newly consolidated practice, McLeod Primary Care Seacoast. This new practice name reflects the merger of McLeod Internal Medicine Seacoast and McLeod Family Medicine Seacoast located at 3980 Highway 9 East, Suite 100, in Little River.
