McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

McLeod Health welcomes Glorimar Caldera, MD, and Abhijit Mahalingashetty, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Caldera, a gastroenterologist, joins Dr. Lacie Edmison, Dr. Khaled Elraie, and Physician Assistant Bill Connors serving patients at McLeod Digestive Health Center Seacoast. A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Caldera provides the full spectrum of digestive health care with special interest and training treating inflammatory bowel disease.  Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Caldera received her medical degree in 2015, completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 2018, followed by fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, all at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Caldera and her husband, James T. Ziglar, were married earlier this year.  He serves in the United States Coast Guard, stationed in Oak Island, North Carolina. Dr. Mahalingashetty is part of the excellent team at McLeod Pulmonary and Critical Care Seacoast. He joins Dr. Kevin Dineen and Dr. Melissa Miara in serving patients. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care, Dr. Mahalingashetty specializes in all aspects of pulmonary and critical care medicine including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Asthma, Lung Cancer, interstitial lung disease, and shortness of breath. He comes to McLeod Health from Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Mahalingashetty and his wife, Tiffany, are parents of a daughter, Adalyn, and son Arthur.
