McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

McLeod Health welcomes Beatrice Buhuro, MD, and Mu En Hu, DO, to the medical staff.

Dr. Buhuro will provide care to patients of Horry County and the Eastern North Carolina community at McLeod Family Medicine Carolina Forest 1 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Dr. Buhuro comes to McLeod Health from Sound Inpatient Physicians in Tacoma, Washington. She specializes in internal medicine, women’s health, and urgent care, ranging from acute to chronic conditions. Dr. Buhuro received her medical degree from St. Eustatius University School of Medicine in Netherlands, Antilles, in 2010, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners, Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2014. “I have always been fascinated with all organ systems and how they complement each other,” said Dr. Buhuro. “Internal medicine gives me the opportunity to explore these as well as build a relationship with my patients.” Dr. Buhuro is accepting new patients. Dr. Hu offers primary care services to Horry County and the Eastern North Carolina community at McLeod Primary Care Seacoast in Little River, South Carolina. She specializes in family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, and urgent care, ranging from acute to chronic conditions. She received her medical degree from the University Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri, in 2019, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma in 2022. “During my initial visit to McLeod Seacoast, I was impressed with the dedication McLeod Health has for quality patient care,” said Dr. Hu. “Their commitment in recruiting staff with excellent skills, providing resources, and striving to improve even during the pandemic was apparent.” Dr. Hu is accepting new patients.
