McLeod Health welcomes Frances A. Hardaway, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Hardaway joins the medical staff at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She will care for patients at Florence Neurosurgery and Spine at McLeod Health, joining a respected team of neurosurgeons including Dr. Andrew Rhea, Dr. William Naso, Dr. Tripp Hines, and Dr. Catherine Tannahill. Dr. Hardaway brings expertise in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, with a primary focus on general neurosurgery and spine surgeries. Her areas of specialty include minimally invasive spine surgery, treatment of herniated discs, spinal stenosis, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, spinal and brain tumors, cranial and spinal trauma, trigeminal neuralgia, failed back surgery syndrome, and cervical myelopathy. Dr. Hardaway earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2011 and completed her neurosurgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University in 2018. She is pleased to return to McLeod Health, continuing a family legacy of service — her father, Dr. Daniel Hardaway, was a longtime cardiologist with McLeod Cardiology Associates.
