McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

McLeod Health and McLeod Physician Associates welcomes new physicians Christopher P. Walsh, MD, and Sarah Novis, MD.

Dr. Walsh comes to McLeod Health from Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, where he completed an Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. He joins Dr. Eric Heimberger, Dr. David Lukowski and Dr. Peter Lukowski in the McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast office.

Dr. Walsh is highly skilled in treating patients with osteoarthritis and specializes in total hip and knee replacement. He also has an interest in complex and revision joint replacement.

“I chose to specialize in orthopedics because I enjoy being able to restore a patient back to normal function,” said Dr. Walsh. “Getting someone back to doing what they love is my reward.”

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Walsh and his wife, Dr. Sarah Novis of McLeod ENT Seacoast look forward to enjoying life at the coast. In his spare time, Dr. Walsh enjoys working out, playing golf, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Novis joins McLeod Health from Texas ENT Specialists in Houston, Texas. She has dual specialization in Otolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Novis is caring for patients with Dr. Salvatore Zieno in the McLeod ENT Seacoast office.

“I strive to stay at the forefront of new research and treatment strategies so I can offer my patient options and develop a personalized plan of care,” said Dr. Novis.

Dr. Novis cares for patients of all ages with recurrent infections of the ears, nose and throat as well as plastic surgery of the face. She also treats multiple problems which include nasal obstruction, nasal deformities, and chronic sinus problems. In addition, she has a special interest in the treatment and reconstruction of skin cancers of the face and neck.
