McLeod Regional Medical Center and McLeod Physician Associates welcomes new physicians David Estephan, MD, and Davinderbir S. Pannu, MD.

Dr. Estephan joins the department of Inpatient Medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center as a Hospitalist. He comes to McLeod following the completion of his Internal Medicine Residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine, Grady Memorial Hospital and Atlanta VA Medical Center in Atlanta. Dr. Estephan received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles in 2013.

A native of Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Estephan enjoys the challenges that arise from treating the most acute patients in the inpatient setting as a Hospitalist. Join us as we welcome Dr. Estephan to the McLeod Regional Medical Center Hospitalists Team.

Dr. Pannu, an interventional gastroenterologist, joins fellow physicians Dr. Deepak Chowdhary and Dr. John Wolford as part of McLeod Physician Associates in practice at McLeod Gastroenterology Associates. Dr. Pannu received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Dehli, India in 2008, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Florida, VAMC-Gainesville, FL in 2012. He completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida, VAMC-Gainesville in 2016, and an Advanced Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at Northwestern University Hospital, Chicago in 2017.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Pannu provides care to patients with conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. He is also very passionate about diagnosis, medical and endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. His training in Advance Endoscopy especially allows for taking care of cancer patients. A native of India, Dr. Pannu comes from a family of physicians and is proud to follow in the footsteps of his mentors in gastroenterology. He and his wife, Oncologist Dr. Ravneet Bajwa, are parents of a three-year-old daughter, Seher.
