Join McLeod Health for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walks on Saturday, October 21. Walkers can participate in the Waccamaw Area Heart Walk which will be held at North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex or the Pee Dee Heart Walk which will take place in Downtown Florence.

The Heart Walk is an American Heart Association signature event that blends the benefits of physical activity, community involvement and personal giving to fight the devastation of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. for both the Waccamaw Walk event and for the Pee Dee Walk which starts at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center. Both walks will begin at 10 a.m. and will be held rain or shine.
