On Thursday, September 17, 2026, Scott Montgomery, CEO of McLeod Health Carolina Forest and Loris, and Dr. Colin Canham, with McLeod Orthopaedics, hosted a Lunch and Learn for residents of the Del Webb Grande Dunes community in Myrtle Beach.

More than 50 residents enjoyed lunch while learning about the exciting growth and expansion of healthcare services in the community. Montgomery shared an update on the opening of the new McLeod Health Carolina Forest Hospital and the expanded access to quality healthcare it will bring to the area.

Dr. Canham provided valuable insights into orthopedic joint care, including the latest advancements in knee treatment and options available to patients. Both Montgomery and Dr. Canham engaged with residents throughout the event, answering questions and visiting with guests following the luncheon. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Del Webb Grande Dunes community and share how McLeod Health continues to expand services and provide comprehensive care close to home.
