McLeod Health Hospitals Recognized for Excellence in Healthcare

McLeod Health Darlington received five awards from PRC including a Top Performer HCAHPS Award for “Communication with Doctors.”

McLeod Health hospitals have been recognized for providing excellence in healthcare by national healthcare research leader Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). The awards were presented during PRC’s 2017 Excellence in Healthcare Conference.

McLeod Health Darlington received a Top Performer HCAHPS Award for “Communication with Doctors.” This ranks the medical center at or above the 100th percentile which equates to one of the highest scoring hospitals in the nation for this domain. The hospital also received four 5-Star HCAHPS Awards for being in the top ten percent in the nation for “Overall Rating,” “Care Transition,” “Communication with Nurses,” and “Communications about Medications.”
