McLeod Health Clarendon employees gathered Tuesday, July 14, for a celebration breakfast recognizing 75 years rooted in the community, 10 years as McLeod Health Clarendon and 120 years of excellence across McLeod Health.

On April 15, 1951, Clarendon Memorial Hospital opened its doors with a vision of caring for the people of Clarendon County and surrounding communities. Through decades of service, growth and dedication, it evolved into Clarendon Health System, building a legacy of compassionate care close to home.

On July 12, 2016, Clarendon Health System joined McLeod Health and entered a new chapter of growth and transformation. The celebration was an opportunity to reflect on the hospital’s history, honor those who came before, recognize the dedicated team members who continue this work today and look ahead to the future.
