This week, McLeod Health celebrates National Women’s Health Week, an observance led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health. The goal is to empower women to make their health a priority, including an annual well-woman visit.

National Women’s Health Week also serves as a reminder for women to improve their overall health, including staying active, eating health, getting enough sleep, managing stress, and avoiding unhealthy behaviors such as smoking, texting while driving, and not wearing a seatbelt or bicycle helmet.
