Mark your calendar to save a life during a McLeod-sponsored American Red Cross Blood Drive this Summer. In South Carolina, the Red Cross must collect 200 units of blood each day to meet the needs of hospital patients across the state. During the summer months, the demand for blood typically increases as a result of holiday weekends and families traveling more than usual.
