Interventional Cardiologists Join McLeod Health Seacoast

Interventional Cardiologists Dr. Joseph Marmora and Dr. Peter Duffy have joined the McLeod Cardiology Associates team at McLeod Health Seacoast.

Prior to joining McLeod Health, Dr. Marmora practiced at the Atlantic Medical Group in Springfield, New Jersey.

Dr. Marmora holds multiple board certifications including:  Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Peripheral Vascular Interpretation. He diagnoses and treats a broad range of heart disease. In his role as an Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Marmora specializes in cardiac catheterization procedures. He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the esteemed Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York.

Prior to joining McLeod Health, Dr. Duffy has cared for cardiology patients for almost 40 years.

“When I heard about the expansion of cardiology services at McLeod Health Seacoast, I was honored to be offered the opportunity to be part of the development of the program,” said Dr. Duffy. “This new heart care service will provide world-class care to our community with the goal of caring for patients with heart disease that is second to none.”

Dr. Duffy holds multiple board certifications including: Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He has held many roles in the Society of Cardiac Angioplasty and Intervention. He also has extensive clinical research experience and is a contributing author to more than 60 published peer-reviewed articles.

Dr. Marmora and Dr. Duffy manage patients with blockages in the coronary arteries which supply the heart muscle. This includes emergency procedures for acute heart attacks, as well as elective procedures for patients with suspected coronary artery disease. They accomplish this using small tubes through the blood vessels, without the need for open heart surgery.

Dr. Marmora and Dr. Duffy join the growing team of cardiologists with McLeod Cardiology Associates on the coast including: Dr. Anne Everman, Dr. William Jackson, Dr. Gavin Leask, Dr. Nathan Almeida, Dr. Nicholas Jebaily, Dr. Amit Pande, and Dr. Kishore Subnani.
