(6/09/09) – The 2009 McLeod Children’s Hospital Golf Classic raised $45,888.80 for the McLeod Children’s Hospital. The event took place Friday, April 17 – Saturday, April 18 at the Country Club of South Carolina in Florence.

The Golf Classic was sponsored by generous businesses, industries, and individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of the more than 26,000 children treated at McLeod Children’s Hospital each year. Tournament highlights included a "Closest to the Floating Green" contest and a Junior Golf Clinic and Lawn Games for McLeod Miracle Children.
