Florence County Progress Event Sponsored by McLeod Health Features Hometown Star

McLEOD HEALTH 16 SEPTEMBER 2025

Florence County Progress hosts its Fall Networking Event presented by McLeod Health on September 4 at The Waters Building in Downtown Florence. This year’s program blended business, community, and culture, featuring a homecoming performance by Florence native Grace Miller Moody, a standout contestant on NBC’s The Voice, and remarks from Donna C. Isgett, President and CEO of McLeod Health. Grace Miller first captured national attention on Season 27 of The Voice when her soulful rendition of Maroon 5’s “Sunday Morning” earned her the coveted four-chair turn. Since her appearance on The Voice, she has continued to make her mark on the Southern music scene.

Progress members and their guests enjoyed a pre-show reception where they got to meet Grace Miller, take photos, and be part of a special presentation from McLeod Health honoring her pursuit of dreams. Donna’s message celebrated Grace Miller’s journey from Florence to the national stage and emphasized the importance of supporting youth in pursuing their passions. “Grace Miller and this event remind us that we are Better Together. This evening is about thankfulness and unity.”

“This is more than a networking event. It’s a special night that brings together our business community, celebrates local talent, and creates a meaningful hometown moment that elevates Florence,” said Gregg Robinson, CEO of the Florence County Economic Development Partnership. “We are thankful for McLeod Health’s partnership in recognizing local talent as well as Donna’s commitment to leadership that acknowledges the success of others.”

Funded by local businesses, industries, and organizations, Progress plays a critical role in industrial recruitment, retention, and growth strategies that drive economic success across Florence County. McLeod Health, a Florence County Progress member, served as the presenting sponsor of the Florence County Progress event.
