Dr. Williams Epps Joins McLeod

McLEOD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER 13 JUNE 2012

(6/13/12) – McLeod Health welcomes cardiologist Dr. William Epps, Jr., FACC, FACP, FCCP to the McLeod Heart & Vascular Institute Team. Dr. Epps has joined Dr. J. Dale Cannon in practice with McLeod Cardiology Associates Sumter.

Prior to joining McLeod, Dr. Epps was in practice at Coastal Medical Associates in Hardeeville, South Carolina. He received his medical education from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio and his Internal Medicine Residency with the University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Epps then completed a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship with the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York.

Dr. Epps is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

Dr. Epps and his wife Nancy, along with their 5 rescue dogs, reside in Bluffton. They have four children: Matt, who is completing his surgical residency in Greenville; Christopher, who is working on his Masters in Architecture in Savannah; Billy, who works for a Wildlife Cruise in Alaska; and Matt who works for Homeland Security. Dr. Epps and Nancy also have two grandchildren; Zack, a student at Kent State; and Alex, a student at the Divinity School of Florida.
