Dr. Walsh Presents on Joint Replacement During a Dinner & Discussion Event in Loris

McLeod Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Christopher Walsh answers questions from attendees on joint pain of the hip and knee during the Dinner & Discussion event held at the Center for Health & Fitness in Loris.

McLeod Loris hosted a Dinner & Discussion on Joint Pain with Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Christopher Walsh with McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast. Twenty-three community members attended the event held on May 17 at the Center for Health & Fitness.

During Dr. Walsh’s presentation on “Is Joint Replacement Right for You?” he discussed joint pain of the hip and knee and how to determine if a joint replacement is the right option to improve mobility.

Dr. Walsh came to McLeod Health in 2017 from Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, where he completed an Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. He cares for patients with Dr. Eric Heimberger, Dr. David Lukowski and Dr. Peter Lukowski in the McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast office.

Dr. Walsh is highly skilled in treating patients with osteoarthritis and specializes in total hip and knee replacement. He also has an interest in complex and revision joint replacement.
