Dr. James Nicholas Wallace to join Dillon Internal Medicine

(6/27/11) – McLeod Medical Center Dillon and Dillon Internal Medicine are pleased to announce James Nicholas Wallace, M.D., has joined the practice.

Dr. Nicholas Wallace received his degree in medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, SC, in 2008. He completed an internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC.

Dr. Nicholas Wallace received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry at Wofford College, in Spartanburg, SC.

He chose a career in internal medicine because he enjoys the family-oriented work and the diversity of patients and their needs. "My father, Dr. Phil Wallace, is an internal medicine physician at Dillon Internal Medicine where he has practiced since 1984. Over the years, I’ve watched him care for generations of family members. His example and influence as an internal medicine physician played a major role in my decision to choose internal medicine as a career for myself," said Dr. Nicholas Wallace.

"I look forward to living and working in Dillon. I want to give back to the community I grew up in, where my family lives. I have come to realize how much I really enjoyed living in Dillon and look forward to calling it home again," said Dr. Nicholas Wallace.

Dr. Nicholas Wallace and his wife, Nicole, have one child, a one-year-old son named Mills. Dr. Nicholas Wallace enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and football.
