Iacob Marcovici, MD, of McLeod OB/GYN Dillon, has recently been recognized for his academic contributions and knowledge.

In September 2015, Dr. Marcovici will present during the upcoming 12th Seminar of the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health to be held in Tel Aviv, Israel. He will present his research "Spontaneous Expulsion of an Essure® Coil Seven Years after Insertion" at the seminar.

In May 2015, Dr. Marcovici was also selected as a reviewer for the International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics (IJGO). In this role, he reviewed a manuscript to make a recommendation on its academic merit. "It is a great honor to be invited to be a reviewer for a respected medical journal," said Dr. Marcovici.

With many years of training and clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Marcovici integrates a compassionate and personal approach with modern, cutting edge technologies that allow him to provide the best care.
