(9/22/10) – McLeod Physician Associates is pleased to announce that Brian Scott Naylor, M.D. has joined McLeod Pediatric Associates of Florence.
Dr. Naylor comes to McLeod Pediatric Associates of Florence from Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, where he served as a staff pediatrician. He also was on staff at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware as a Pediatric Hospitalist.

Dr. Naylor attended medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics at Naval Medical Center, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Naylor is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics

"Through the specialty of pediatrics, I can make a difference in the lives of children by educating patients and their families about lifestyle choices that will improve the quality and length of their lives," said Dr. Naylor.

In addition, the availability of the McLeod Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric Subspecialists make McLeod the pediatric regional referral center for the Northeastern part of the state."

Dr. Naylor values treating children from birth through adolescence for all general pediatric issues. In addition to his passion for helping children make good food choices and become more active, Dr. Naylor’s interests include asthma, ADHD, and sports medicine.

Dr. Naylor looks forward to meeting new patients and their families. McLeod Pediatric Associates of Florence is located at 204 E. Cheves Street, Florence. An additional McLeod Pediatric Associates of Florence office will open this winter behind McLeod Urgent Care Center, Palmetto Street, Florence.
