(11/10/10) – On Thursday, November 11, 2010, McLeod Health will host a book sale and signing for N.B. Baroody, M.D.’s most recent publication, The Unexpected Visitor; a book of photographs and narrative that uplifts, encourages, and inspires. Baroody’s widow, Margaret, who wrote the narrative, will be on hand to sign copies of the book from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Bear Essentials gift shop in the McLeod Tower at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Rob Colones, President of McLeod Health, says this of N.B. Baroody, M.D.:

"Dr. Baroody was a cardiologist and internal medicine physician who cared for patients for 55 years, serving on the McLeod Medical Staff in private practice during that time and later as a preceptor and physician with the McLeod Family Medicine Center since 1989. Dr. Baroody also provided leadership and educational support as a part of the teaching faculty for the McLeod Family Medicine program since 1979. His influence on residents, physicians, and hospital staff will be a lasting legacy to the community."
