On Saturday, April 18, McLeod Orthopedic Physicians, Sports Medicine Athletic Trainers, Family Medicine Physicians and Residents, and Registered Nurses provided sports physicals at the McLeod Family Medicine Center in Florence for 886 local student athletes. These physicals were offered at no cost to student athletes from schools that partner with McLeod Sports Medicine for Athletic Training services. Participating schools included: Francis Marion University, South Florence High School, Southside Middle School, Florence Christian School, Williams Middle School, Wilson High School, Lake City High School, Trinity Collegiate School, Hannah-Pamplico High School, Latta High School, Lamar High School, The King’s Academy, West Florence High School, Sneed Middle School, John W. Moore Middle School, Darlington High School, Virtus Academy, Maranatha Christian School, Marion High School, and Mullins High School.
Additionally, McLeod Family Medicine Residents in Clarendon completed 173 sports physicals for student athletes from Laurence Manning Academy on April 1. McLeod Family Medicine Residents in Cheraw also completed 83 sports physicals for student-athletes from Cheraw High School on April 15.
