The Fall 2025 Health Careers Symposium was held Friday, December 12 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Deon Evans, McLeod Health Careers Coordinator, congratulated the 15 high school students from Florence 1 Schools. “It has been an honor and a privilege to watch these students grow both personally and professionally. They were each tasked at the beginning of this course to set goals and I am excited to see what their future holds. I would also like to thank the McLeod Health professionals who took their time to mentor the students.”
The Health Care Careers Course is a honors level program designed for students interested in pursuit of a career in the medical field where they receive mentorship, train in simulated clinical situations and conduct research on current healthcare trends.
