McLeod Health welcomes Miranda Hayworth, MD, and Chelsea N. Thompson, MD, to the medical staff.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Miranda Hayworth joins the team at Florence Neurosurgery and Spine at McLeod Health alongside Dr. Andrew Rhea, Dr. William Naso, Dr. Tripp Hines, Dr. Catherine Tannahill, and Dr. Frances Hardaway. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed her Neurosurgery Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Hayworth provides comprehensive neurosurgical care, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, cranial and spinal trauma, brain and spine tumors, and normal pressure hydrocephalus. Dr. Chelsea Thompson joins Dr. John Odom and Advanced Practice Providers Brantley Church, NP; Erin S. Floyd, PA-C; Linda Jones, FNP; and Kimberly Spivey, FNP, in providing comprehensive primary care to patients across all ages at McLeod Family Medicine Marion. Dr. Thompson earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua and recently completed her Family Medicine Residency at McLeod Health. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Dr. Thompson brings a passion for community-focused care and values building lasting relationships with her patients.
