McLEOD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER 11 AUGUST 2025

Octavia Williams-Blake, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, spoke on behalf of McLeod Health during Central Carolina Technical College’s (CCTC) dedication and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, August 5, celebrating the newly renovated Academic and Student Services Building, which now includes the McLeod Health Anatomy and Physiology Lab.

McLeod Health recently made a donation of $25,000 to support the education and training of students at CCTC. “This investment reflects our belief that strong partnerships between healthcare providers and higher education are essential to building a skilled and compassionate workforce that contributes to economic growth in the communities we serve,” said Williams-Blake.

Other McLeod Health team members were also in attendance for the unveiling of the new signage for the McLeod Health Anatomy and Physiology Lab.

McLeod Health’s ongoing partnership with CCTC supports hands-on learning for future nurses and allied health professionals who are essential to the strength of our healthcare workforce and the well-being of the region.
