McLeod Health welcomes Christopher T. Cordeiro, MD, and Lillian Fong, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Cordeiro joins the medical staff of McLeod Health Loris and McLeod Health Seacoast as a Hospitalist. Dr. Cordeiro brings a wealth of experience in Internal Medicine, having served as an attending physician and assistant professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina since 2022. Dr. Cordeiro completed his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine and his Internal Medicine Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. A Board Certified Internist, Dr. Cordeiro is passionate about advancing patient care and supporting the health and wellness of his community. He enjoys a variety of interests outside of medicine, including fitness, wellness, motor sports, ice hockey, and fishing. Dr. Cordiero and his wife, McLeod Pediatrician Dr. Lillian Fong, recently welcomed their daughter, Chloe.

Dr. Fong is a Board Certified Pediatrician who has joined the newly established practice, McLeod Pediatrics Loris, located at 3617 Casey Street, Suite B in Loris. A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine (2019), Dr. Fong completed her residency at Maimonides Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, New York (2022). She is passionate about providing quality, evidence-based medical care to children from birth and is committed to building trusting relationships with caregivers. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Fong enjoys reading, creating nutritious meals, indulging in ice cream, and spending time with her family and their miniature schnauzer, Kylo.
