McLeod Health welcomes Dr. Hanaa Benchekron and Dr. Mohammed Taoudi to the Department of Inpatient Medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center as a Hospitalists.

A native of Morocco, Dr. Benchekroun comes to McLeod following the completion of her Internal Medicine Residency at Englewood Medical Center, in Englewood, New Jersey.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Benchekron received her Doctor of Medicine (MD, Docteur en Medecine) from the Universite Mohammed V Faculte de Medecine et de Pharmacy de Rabat, Morocco in 2012. Dr. Benhchekroun and her husband, Dr. Mohammed Taoudi, are parents of two daughters.

Also Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Taoudi received his Doctor of Medicine (MD, Docteur en Medecine) from the University of Liege, Belgium in 2003. He holds a Masters in Clinical Oncology from Gustave Roussy Institute, University of Paris XI, France in 2005, and a Translational Research Post Doctoral Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston Texas in 2009. Dr. Taoudi completed his Internal Medicine Residency at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan in 2012.

Prior to joining McLeod, Dr. Taoudi served as Hospitalist medical staff for Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, New York; Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, New York, and Englewood Medical Center, Englewood, New Jersey.
