McLeod Health Seacoast is pleased to announce the opening of an additional 37 patient rooms on the fourth floor of the main tower. These new patient rooms will be used for medical and surgical patients. The additional patient rooms increase total capacity to 205 licensed beds at McLeod Loris Seacoast Hospitals. This expansion, coupled with superlative care by the teams throughout McLeod Health Seacoast, supports the provision of an exceptional patient experience in this region.

McLeod Health continues to offer excellent healthcare to the residents of Horry, Brunswick and Columbus Counties. As the population increases, McLeod Health remains committed to expanding access to the critical services and specialties needed in these communities.

One of the largest hospitals in Horry County, McLeod Health Seacoast is located on Highway 9 in Little River, South Carolina. Recent expansions include a four-story bed tower, hybrid operating room, addition of the Rosa Robot for robotic-assisted orthopedic surgery, and upgraded DaVinci Robot for robotic-assisted general, urological and gynecological surgeries. Additional medical specialists in oncology, neurology and interventional cardiology will join the McLeod Health team in the next few months as service lines are expanded to meet the growing needs of Horry and Brunswick Counties.
